Curtain Making Specialists

We specialise in curtain making, with all work carried out on-site by our skilled and experienced staff. We offer a variety of linings and interlinings, as well as additional finishing touches. We also provide a variety of curtain heading options to suit your style and needs.

Lning and Interlining

We offer a variety of lining and interlining options, including:

  • Thermal-coated polycotton
  • Coated blackout polycotton
  • Thermal-coated polyester (mould-resistant)
  • Coated blackout polyester (mould-resistant)
  • Uncoated polycotton
  • Polyester interlining
  • Cotton interlining

Finishing 

We offer a range of extra finishing touches, including:

  • Bagged edges—side hems are blind-stitched to the lining rather than shanked
  • French seams—ideal for unlined curtains that require joins
  • Weighted hems—to help keep curtains firmly on the ground
  • Decorative trims, piping, or frills
  • Banding or borders

Curtain Options

Your curtain options include:

  • Wave:
    • Waves in and out, showcasing all fabric
    • Uses approximately 190% fullness
  • Gathered Tape (Pencil Pleat):
    • Options range from 15mm to 150mm wide
    • Features a tight, upright pleat
    • Uses approximately 200% fullness
  • Single Pleat:
    • A single tuck to the front
    • Uses approximately 150% fullness (the least amount of fabric)
  • Double Pleat:
    • A double tuck to the front
    • Uses approximately 220% fullness
  • Triple Pleat:
    • A triple tuck to the front
    • Uses approximately 250% fullness
  • Box (Inverted) Pleat:
    • A full pleat to the back, resembling a box-pleated skirt
    • Uses approximately 190% fullness
  • New York Pleat:
    • A small pleat to the back, with tape added to create a scalloped front
    • Uses approximately 170% fullness
